Um... no. (You *ARE* quoting the description on the video page for
laughs, right?)

His playing isn't too bad. The song isn't great, but I've heard far
worse. The video production is average for an amatuer job.

But what really astounds me is how bad his guitar tone is. With that
Strat, all that rackmount gear, and all those Marshalls he should sound
better. His distortion just totally washes out whatever he plays.

Looks like he was pretending. Not one clip in realtime where the vid
matched the music. Looks like he can play.

The man can play well . It seems like he suffers from what most guitar
players do. He wasted too much time practicing guitar when he should
have been practicing his songwriting.
The world is chucked full of great guitar players. They're a dime a
dozen. Theres 20 year old kids in garages all over the U.S. who can
smoke Clapton and Carlos Santana on guitar. Those two cats can write
songs though. Those two guys are famous and those two guys are
considered great.
The guitar is a toy to have fun with.By all means play the hell out of
it and practice any chance you get. Dont neglect your pen because it
coupled with your mind will take you places. The guitar alone will only
leave you stranded in a garage, playing $50 a night gigs and with a
head full of what ifs ,regrets and a worn out guitar..

Frankly, I'm underwhelmed.

There's also a difference between giving yourself a title (Michael
Jackson - "King of Pop"; Howard Stern - "King of All Media") and having
a title given to you (Elvis Preseley - "The King of Rock and Roll";
B.B. King - "The King of the Blues").

Plus what the other guys have said.
