Danelectro Pedals - Jeff - 21:18 24-11-05

I see there are a lot of these going on ebay pretty cheaply and not a lot of
bids and they are supposed to be NEW. Anyone have any experience (I know
someone does) and recomendations on these things?

The chorus pedal is awesome. It takes two 9 volt batteries, though. The
only other one I have any experience with is the mini delay pedal. Our
guitarist uses one and it's ok.How much are they going for?

I have a DanEcho, and it's fantastic, though unfortunately I don't
have a lot of use for it at the moment. If I'm ever in a reggae band
again, it'll be in constant rotation for dub breaks.

I noticed awhile back that they discontinued this one and replaced it
with a unit that's shaped and printed to look like it's a real tape
echo unit - anyone got one of these? How are they?

I also bought the Dan-O-Wah, and that was a good exercise in that it
taught me that when you buy a pedal, it's better to get one pedal that
does one thing, and does it well - the D-O-W is packed with features,
a bunch of different wah sounds, an octave/distortion effect,
something else I can't remember, and they're all uniformly bad. But it
sure does look cool. :>

I have the French Toast Fuzz Box with Octave switch and it is great.

I have a Danelectro delay and an EQ. I like them both.

The knobs on the delay are cheap and likely to break.

There are two classes of Danos...the full-size pedals and the mini-pedals.
Make sure you know which one you're buying.

Right now the high bid (mine) on the chorus is $12 and the high bid on the
flanger (also mine) is $10.
