I have an RP80, and it's pretty damn good for $80. I would even consider
using it at a bar gig or party. Otherwise it's a great practice and
recording tool.

I used an RP-100 for a few years. I was basically happy with it (but I
replaced it with a Pod XT Live). Here's my list of pros and cons:
PROS:
1. Most of the amp models were great if I set the gain at a realistic
level. Between 20 and 30 gave the distorted ones a nice heavy crunch.
Adding the compressor and upping the gain to 35 helped with sustain for
leads. I liked my amp's clean tone, so I just bypassed the models for
clean sounds.
2. Most of the effect ranged from good to excellent (especially the
phaser, chorus and flanger).
3. The reverbs and delays were amazing (as good as some rack gear I've
used).
4. The cabinet/mic models really helped when recording or going
straight to a PA.
5. You can use any passive volume pedal as an expression pedal.
6. By using the "Auto-Swell" and the Pitch-Shift (on the 2 octaves
setting), I could do a great pipe organ imitation. This may not be
useful to everyone, but I loved it.
CON:
1. The presets generally sucked (way too much gain, overdone effects,
etc).
2. The "Rectifier" amp model sounded absolutely nothing like a Mesa. It
was amazingly bad. The only use I found for it was to make industrial
noises.
3. The "Rotary" effect was weak. It could've actually sounded like a
leslie I could've tweaked it more, but I couldn't. Very frustrating.
4. The wah and whammy were passable at best.
And then there was the "Auto-Yah". At first, I thought it was downright
silly. But after playing around with it, I found I could do a "talkbox"
imitation with it. So, this is neither a pro or a con. It's just a
weird little feature.

I own the RP50. Sounds absolutely amazing for something which cost me $59.
