Ok, hopefully Cox's newservers won't go down again and I can actually track
this :)
It' a jungle out there. A Spyware infested, Pop-Up, Pop-Under, Caslemedia
Ad-engine controlled Jungle.
It seems like half the time you go to a TAB/GuitarPro site to find
something, you have to fight off the massive popups (even with a blocker,
it's annoying as hell), offers to "Scan your spyware infected computer -
Yeah, right", install Spyware Infected Screensavers or Smiley programs,
etc...
I visited one of my favorite Eagles sites I hadn't been to for a couple of
years, and the damn thing tried to install an Active-X to scan my registry
'for me'.
I realize guys have to support thier sites but JEEZ!
But I digress...
To the point.
What are the best, least-annoying sites out there for TAB's and Guitar-Pro
files these days?
Also what is the best online location to purchase full, commercial TAB
books? Amazon is a bit tough to weed through on this one because the
descriptions are terrible, and half of them seem to be out of print, have
'extra fee's' for finding them, etc...
